Sharing the Love Stocks Three Local Food Pantries
Sharing the Love was a great success. More than 125 people came, danced to the music of DJ John Martin, and had a great time. In the process, we collected over 500 pounds of food that was divided between Angel Food East ("Wow! Your timing was perfect!"), The Queen’s Galley ("Thanks so much for your generosity!") and Dutchess Outreach ("Wow, this is amazing!") to help stock their food pantries. The Center would like to thank everyone who came out for your generous support of the Sharing the Love event.
This is the third year we have joined with The Loft in White Plains and the Pride Center of the Capital Region in the Sharing the Love project to help stock local food banks throughout the Hudson Valley.
