The Gala is the Center’s major fundraising event of the year. Each year it gets bigger and better; more than 200 people are expected to attend this year. In addition to observing the Center’s fifth anniversary, the evening will include a keynote address by State Senator Tom Duane, lead sponsor of the marriage equality bill, and the presentation of a Courage Award to Nathanael Bodon of Marlboro, who was forced out of the U.S. Army while serving in Iraq because of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. The extraordinary contributions of Ginny Apuzzo, the Center’s first President, who is stepping down from that position but will remain on the Center Board of Directors as Founding President, will also be celebrated.

Help us celebrate the Center's progress and success by purchasing an ad in the commemorative program journal. Below is a rate and spec sheet for the program journal. We ask that all camera-ready copy be delivered to design@pdqbiz.net no later than February 26. Additional ways to contribute to the Gala and to support the Center include purchasing tickets to the event and/or donating items for the live and silent auctions which take place during the event.
